Meet the stunning, sweet & beautiful, Alyanna! Where do I begin?! She is a Senior in San Diego, California this year… well half of this year. She started her senior at Carroll Senior High, and booked her session with me in Texas before she found out she was moving back to her home state of California. When I did a session with her BFF, Isabella, she told me that Alyanna had moved back to California but that she was still planning on flying back to Texas for her session with me! In my head I thought, “No she’s not!” 😉 See that was right about the time that I found out that we would be moving to California.. the stars couldn’t have aligned more perfectly! We went back and forth discussing a few places to do her session and at the time I knew nothing about California beaches. My husband planned a few trips to California before we officially make our move and he wanted to surprise me by taking me to a beautiful location in Malibu (aka Heaven) and as soon as we pulled up I recognized the name because it was one of Alyanna’s suggestions… again the stars aligned perfectly! El Matador in Malibu, CA is easily one of my favorite places. EVER. so to do a session there was literally a DREAM to me. I knew that I wanted to really capture this session in every sense of the word so I hit up my amigo, Nate Taylor who lives in Los Angeles, and who is also a talented photographer and recent videographer and he agreed to shoot a “Behind-the-Scenes with Clara Bella” video! Be sure to stay tuned for the amazing video, and I will also write a blog post for my fellow photographer friends on my camera settings and overcoming the difficulty of shooting on the beach (as well as what I will do different next time!) These are stunning! I recently started following your Facebook page and I would love to read your blog post on this shoot. I am in south Orange County and have only shot a few seniors so far. I would like to expand this part of my business, but they usually want to go to the beach, which can be tricky. I would love some input on your settings, tricks and tips for sessions at the beach. Will you post that link for your blog post on Facebook, or is there a newsletter I could follow or sign up for? I look forward to seeing more of your work in my newsfeed.
